Jennifer Rene Psaki
Jennifer Rene Psaki was an American political advisor who served as the 34th White House press Secretary between 2021 until 2022. A member of the Democratic Party, she previously worked in the Obama administration as the White House deputy press secretary (2009) as well as the White House deputy communications director (2009-2011) as well as the spokesperson of the United States Department of State (2013-2015); and the White House communications director (2015-2017. Psaki was a CNN political commentator from 2017 to 2020. Psaki began her professional career with an Iowa Democratic senator, Tom Harkin, and then became the governor of Iowa. Psaki was then appointed press secretary in John Kerry's 2004 presidential campaign. Psaki also served as director of communications for Joseph Crowley (U.S.) as well as the regional press secretary for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. Psaki was appointed the press secretary of President Obama's 2012 election campaign. In the year 2000, Psaki was named the spokesperson of the United States Department of State. The speculations that she was going to replace Jay Carney White House Press secretary after he left the White House[21] were fuelled by her appointment at the Department of State. However, Josh Earnest was announced as Carney's replacement on May 30 the 30th of May, 2014. She was recalled to the White House as Communications Director in 2015 and stayed until the end.
